Day 1: Delhi to Corbett National Park
Early morning drive to Ramnagar, it is 270 kms. away from Delhi and around 6 to 7 hours journey. Reach ramnagar here you will be meet to our representative from corbett safari and escorted to dhikala/gairal forest lodge in an open jeep. Enter via dhangarhi gate and visit the interpretation centre - the adventure wildlife corbett safari begins from this point. The lodge has an incredible setting overlooking the Ramganga reservoir and the opportunity to see wildlife in its open natural habitat. An evening jeep safari you will visit to sambhar road, thandi road, sunset point and grasslands called "Dhikala Chaurs". Evening jeep safari gives you more opportunity to sighting of the majestic tiger. Overnight stay at lodge.
Day 2: Explore Corbett National Park
An early morning take your tea in canteen and get ready to your first elephant ride. It is the most promising way to spot the tigers in corbett national park. When you sit on elephant back you get a panoramic view of jungle and also feel safe at an elevation of over 9 feet above the ground level. Once you spot a tiger, your trusted mahout try to elephant moves closer of tiger. In the afternoon can be spent on a watch tower overlooking the grassland - for bird watchers corbett is an ecstasy. An evening jeep safari gives you a better chance to explore the forest deep and closely, crossing the river at the gathiarao shrot. Overnight at dhikala /gairal rest house.
Day 3: Corbett National Park to onward destination.
Early morning according to the package takes your elephant ride or jeep safari. After breakfast check out from dhikala/gairal. Reach ramnagar by noon via gairal range forest; here you have some chance to see the reptiles such as turtles, alligators and crocodiles. Reach ramnagar and move to onward destination.
